Why do you want to be Staff/Gamemaster:
The reason I am applying to be Staff is because I feel I can help foster the feeling of community, and family here. I want everyone to have a good time, while still following the rules. I would like to make everyone feel welcome while ensuring rules are followed, and prevent confrontation before it can occur.
What is the most important rule to you:
4. Your first action in any disagreement should always be to try to RP it out. If that doesn’t work and you have a problem with another player, handle it privately, rather than having an open argument in Chat in the game, or in a public forum like Discord. If things go too far, let staff know, do not let drama become toxic and affect others.
The reason this rule is so important for me personally is because lately I've noticed quite a bit of fighting and arguing in OOC chat. While I think all feelings are valid, I would like to have these disagreements discussed in private. These disagreements also, from what I have noticed, that do occur in IC chats tend to bleed over into OOC. This is another issue I wish to help relieve the community of.
Why should we support your application, and what makes you more qualified than other players? (Please elaborate - minimum effort will not be tolerated):
I believe I have been kind, compassionate, and helpful to everyone in the community. I go out of my way to help anyone who needs help. My activity has never been an issue, as I can dedicate at minimum 6 hours to the server a day. I believe (as I play both factions) I am unbiased, and see things from both factions' viewpoints. Thus far I have brought any issues i've witnessed or found to the appropriate staff member.
If applying for Staff explain how you would handle a situation brought to you:
1. Read the report in its entirety. Screenshot it if it's in @ chat.
2. Pull the reporting party to somewhere private and ask them to explain the report.
3. After hearing one side, I would tell the reporter to stay there. Then pull the reported party to a different private area to get their side of the story.
4. If substantial proof is provided and I've formed a judgment, I would tell the reported party what is going to happen from there. The punishment should be equivalent to what they did.
5. If applicable, apply punishment(s) and explain why I applied the punishment I did.
If applying for Gamemaster: Please write an example of an event you would run:
This event would take a few days to set up (One for building, and one for execution. I would also need at least one other staff member or someone to agree to be an actor)
1. I would build a large set of rooms, about 4 connected by hallways (Much like Thor’s cave.)
2. I would then advance dupe the build so it can be saved for when the event is to occur.
3. On the day the event is to occur I would ask for a volunteer to be an actor. Then pull the actor aside and explain what his backstory is and where I want the story to go.
4. I would then bring all the parties wanting to participate in the event to the starting room. As they remain there I note how many are participating and set the actors health accordingly as a end of event boss fight.
5. The participants would have to roleplay through the first room, convincing the actor to give them the key to enter the second room. After entering the second room a hackable rayshield would stand between them and the third room, however there are strong NPC’s between them and the hackable server. After breaking into the third room a mini boss would await them. After beating the mini boss they may then enter the fourth and final room where the actor again reveals himself as the final boss. His HP matches that of how many are fighting him and how strong those participating are. This should not be an easy fight. Depending if they kill the actor or show restraint, determine if the actor gives them the keypad code to leave through the exit or if they have to travel back through the way they came where reinforcements have been called and are blocking the exit.
